Calvary Children and Youth Ministries
Calvary Children and Youth Ministries
Calvary Children and Youth Ministries exist to raise up the children and students of the church today to be effective disciples of Jesus Christ. We don't believe these students are the church of tomorrow, but instead are the church of today.
These ministries exist to cultivate biblical literacy, sound doctrine, and a heart for service and missions in our children and students. By partnering with parents and the local church, we equip these children and students to become mature and effective disciples who know scripture, love Christ, and actively influence the world for the glory of God.
Our goal is to develop children and students who:
Know what they believe
Know why they believe it
Can effectively share it
Live it out by:
Growing deeper in their personal relationships with Jesus Christ
Discipling others toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ
Boldy proclaiming and defending the Gospel
Serving faithfully in their communities and beyond
Our desire is to equip children and students with the skills and tools necessary to glorify God in every area of life (family, education, relationships, and future vocation) while also living as witnesses who share the Gospel, grow in confidence in their faith, serve faithfully in the world, and make disciples in everyday life.
We believe parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children.
The role of the Children and Youth Ministries is to come alongside parents to support, encourage, and equip families in discipling their children.
We ask parents to:
Stay engaged in their student's spiritual life
Communicate with ministry leadership
Encourage weekly participation
Pray regularly with their students and for the ministry
Partner with us in discipleship and other ministry goals
